The Miami Valley Film Association has officially partnered with The Wolfe Practice, a boutique law firm specializing in business, entertainment and media law. The Wolfe Practice is helmed by veteran lawyer Jennifer Wolfe, Esq. who will act as the General Counsel for the Miami Valley Film Association.
 
5.5.08 - Local EMMY(tm) Winner Hired to Shoot SONY Feature
Stephen Murray, an Ohio/Oxford Native, former President of MAFIA Films, and regional Emmy(TM) Winner has been hired to shoot a feature film for SONY Pictures which begins production in just a few short weeks. Though the title of the film has not yet been released, this will be the second time Mr. Murray has been hired to work on a project for Sony, and we're excited to see our local filmmakers and alumni continue on to do great things! Mr. Murray just recently shot "The End of All Things" a large-scale disaster short in Oxford, Ohio with the MFA this past November, and is on staff with the Oxford International Film Festival.
 
4.14.08 - 2008 Oxford International Film Festival Announces Winners
The 2nd Annual, 2008 Oxford International Film Festival concluded it's 4-day festival with a catered awards-gala on Sunday, April 13th, where the more than 25 awards were presented. You can view the 2008 Award Winners online HERE.
