The Miami Film Association is proud to offer Production Support for any Independent Filmmaker planning to shoot a film in the region. We are able to provide you with the local connections for cast and crew, permits, help with all the legal & organizational paperwork, contracts, budgeting, equipment needs, you name it. The Miami Film Association has extensive local, regional, and national ties within the film industry which allow us to better help you get your movie made and a built-in support system for screenings and independent releasing. If there's a way to make it work, we'll help you find it.

We have extensive local and region contacts & knowledge which we're happy to pass on to you. We have everything from legal counsel to city counsel ties. Looking to film on a bus? We have access to an extensive regional crew database (with the help of the Southern Ohio Filmmaker's Association & Cincinnati Film Commission). We can also help you set up local/regional cast-calls and get the word out!

Looking to shoot your film in the region, but don't have the equipment you need? Whether you're looking to shoot on HD, DV, or FILM, we can put you in contact with the local people and companies that can get you what you need.

Another great benefit of the MFA is that we have a built-in releasing system, from our own film festivals & weekly screenings to regional theaters, online content, and DVD releases. If you've got an excellent local film that you feel deserves a shot at a release, we want to hear about it! While we are not able to release every film submitted, we are happy to sit down and chat with you about how the current independent & studio releasing systems work, help you avoid getting ripped off by a distributor, help you work the Film Festival system and get you started on your way! MFA (through Star Com Productions LLC) is also now able to provide extensive marketing & PR services (internationally), ranging from cover/poster art to websites, press releases, press kits, headshots, DVD replication, and mass-media management.
